Gertie is a lovely affectionate 12 year old cat. She neither looks nor acts her age. She is good with chilren and other cats but has never been around dogs. She settled immediately at kennels so is clearly a very adaptable cat.
Basil and Louigi are two semi-longhaired male cats aged 8 yrs. They are a loving pair and ideally we would like to rehome them together. They are very friendly and easy to handle.Basil will sit happily and be stroked where as Louigi enjoys attention so much that he will gentle put his paw out to remind you to keep stroking. Photos to follow.
Chloe is an affectionate and friendly 2 year old cat. She has come back to BARK due to some house training issues. However, after a time of settling she now is using her litter tray again. An understanding owner with a consistent approach to her needs will enable Chloe to settle well in a new home. Chloe will be best with access to a small internal area and the outside, at least in the initial stages so she can re-learn what living in a house is all about.
Sooty is only 3 years old and has always been a house cat. Sadly her owner has died recently and Sooty is clearly missing her. She has really come out of herself now with the aid of treats and has a lovely gentle meow. She will make a very good companion cat, in a quiet household, although she is likely to take time to settle in any new home.
Casper and Oscar are 10 year old brothers. Oscar is the more affectionate of the two and loves to be groomed, which is a good job as both these boys need regular attention to their locks. They have always lived together and it would be kinder to keep it that way. They are a super pair and will make a lovely additon to a home that has time for their extra beauty needs.
Jessie and Tarni are five year old sisters. They are are a loving pair with Jessie being the more confident of the two. Ideally we would like these two to go together as they are very loving towards each other. They have lived with children, travel well and are generally a very friendly pair.
Fleur is a lovely old soul, around 18 years. Being a Persian she needs regular grooming and this hasnt been done for some time so she does need some extra special tlc.
Honey is a lovely 8 year old Birman cross who has lived with other cats. She is an affectionate sole who would settle with older children.
Stephanie is an 8 year old ginger girl. She is friendly and although she has shared a house (and currently a run) with other cats she tends to prefer her own and her owners company.
Cugar is about 4 years old. He is a very nice cat who although a bit wary at first is then just a lump of cuddles. He has previously lived with a dog but he appears very worried by the other cats in the cattery.
Koffey is around 13 and a Birman and a striking cat he is. He is very very affectionate and likes nothing more that human company. He has lived with other cats and quites like being the only male among the girls.
Ruben is a Noweigen Forest Cat and an absolute beauty. He is just a baby at a year old so still has a fair bit of growing to do. He likes to be groomed and is very affectionate, friendly and playful. He can be quite vocal but what a wonderful companion he will make.
Oscar is a quiet cat who has not been outside as yet. He has a lovely dense coat and loves his toys. He has never lived with other animals and has been in a quiet household. He is only just 7 months old so he has plenty of time to find his feet and settle into a new home.
William is a young kitten who will be looking to go to his new home in mid August. Although he originally came in as a ferral a friendlier kitten you probably wont meet.
The animals below are not currently in our kennels but are being rehomed from their own homes. If you would like further information please contact the kennels so we may put you in touch.
Cheeky is a 4 year old cat who prefers the company of females. She is carrying a little bit too much weight and this will need to be treated with both exercise and diet to get back the figure hiding under those extra pounds.
